Identification and Background

Released by Dell as the light, sleek laptop from their Latitude family in 2010, the Dell Latitude e4310 is built for business and personal use.

The Latitude e4310 features a docking port on the underside of the device for use with a keyboard, mouse, and one or two monitors. It has a trackpad with a left click and right click. It also features a "pointing stick" that can control the mouse pointer without moving your hand to the trackpad; along with this pointing stick, it has its own left and right click that sit above the trackpad.

The stock Latitude e4310 features an i5 processor at 2.4GHz with 2 GB of RAM (reconfigurable) scoring a 6238 on the PCmark05 benchmark. -CNET

This device is distinguished from the others in the latitude family primarily by the identifier on the inside of the laptop, in the top left corner of the keyboard. Many of the laptops in the latitude exx10 family look quite similar apart from that identifier in the corner. Be sure that you on on the correct page; that is, the Dell Latitude e4310.
