Drone Does Not Lift Off

Drone's rotor blades will spin for a second and stop.

Dead/Low Dronium One Battery

This is caused by low or dead battery on the drone itself. Dronium One uses a 3.7V 380MAh Li Bo battery and can be charged using a computer USB. To resolve this issue, carefully insert the charging cable into the drone USB port.

Solve this issue by replacing the battery here.

Drone Does Not Respond to Controller

The drone is in working condition, but will not follow commands from the remote controller.

Dead/Low Controller Battery

This may be caused by low or dead battery on the controller. Remove the battery cover and insert 4 ‘AA’ batteries (+ side into + side). Put the battery cover back on.

Controller and Drone Not Synchronized

Follow the simple steps to synchronize the controller and drone:

1. Turn on the controller.

2. Turn on the aircraft and place it on level ground.

3. Move the throttle stick all the way forward and then all the way back.

A plausible problem is that electromagnetic objects may interfere with the communication between the drone and the controller. Therefore, remove any electromagnetic objects such as batteries, magnets and other objects surrounding the drone that can cause interference from the mediate area, and always fly in a clear opening.

Previous Physical Damage

If your drone has suffered any physical damage in the past, such as crashing into the wall or falling from great heights, this may affect the drone’s ability to respond to the controller. Loose cables or connections can prevent communication. Inspect drone visually and reconnect any unconnected cables.

If damage is visible on the Rotor Blade or Rotor Guard, the replacement guide to solving this issue can be found here.

Rotor Blades Do Not Spin

You can hear the motor functioning but the rotor blades do not respond.

Motors Are Set in Opposite Directions

You can fix this remote control (RC) motor by checking if the rotor blades are connected to the right motors. Another solution is to change the wires that are connected to the motor. To do so, inspect underneath the drone’s arms to make sure the cables are not intertwined and only go to each individual rotor gear.

Drone Tilts When in Flight

Your dronium tilts when in flight due to the following potential errors.

Loose rotor blades

Even though your dronium works, an error with the rotor blades can cause the drone to tilt when in flight. This happens when one or more rotor blades are loose or wobbling. For an example, propeller A, B and C is spinning normally and propeller D is spinning loosely. To resolve this issue, turn on the dronium without lifting it off and observe the rotor blades. When the loose propeller is found, hold it in place while turning the motor on and it will tighten itself. Also, you may tighten the propeller screw if you have a compatible screw driver.

Flying the Drone at an Angle

If you see your drone flies at an angle after lift-off, this means that your drone was not placed evenly on the ground prior to lift-off. To resolve this issue, place the drone on a flat surface and be mindful of elevation angle prior to lift-off. The surface could be leveled but the landing gear is damaged.

If that’s the case, the replacement guide to solving this issue can be found here.

Motors are Spinning with Different Speeds

If the drone is not at a level platform, it may attempt to compensate by accelerating some of its motors. Verify that the motors are connected property and check to make sure the drone is level when it is on the floor at take-off.

Irregular or Erratic Response From Control Inputs

The drone might show irregular or erratic response from the control input.

Radio System Failing

The drone might fail to respond to the radio system because of the electromagnetic interruption, possibly caused by magnets and other electrical devices. Another reason is that other objects are blocking the signal, causing the drone to fail from not receiving the signals. If the drone does not respond to the radio signals, remove any electrical devices or magnets that might cause interruption.

Remote Control Antenna is Damaged

Similar to the radio system failing, the remote-control antenna could be damaged because of the electromagnetic interruption caused by magnets and other electrical devices. One way to fix this is to remove any magnets or electrical devices that could cause the interruption.

Solve the issue by replacing the antenna here.

Amazing guide

Was flying out of my house, had a small crash and tackle into a drape. All four spin, but when I touch one of the propellers at spinning it seems like it's not locked in place the rest of them are spinning locked in place. When I take off it flips towards the weak side spinning. Any suggestions ?

Mark Miller - Replica

Make sure u have correct blade in motor a or b I had same prob replaced with correct blade and bingo

Jared Bobo -

I got all four blades to spin and locked in but it still tips over when it goes to full throttle. Anybody have any suggestions?

My drone kept climbing in elevation. Wouldn't respond to the controller after a small test flight in the garage. I took it outside, did the auto take off, and went to bring it above the basketball hoop in the park I was flying at. Well, it didn't stop climbing in elevation even when bringing the elevation control stick down. She kept climbing and climbing and climbing...now she's gone.

Will Not ,calabrate ,does not respond to controller, At All, was Christmas gift , out of box ,charged drone, new Duracell batteries in controller . Have replaced batteries 2x , still only Beeping & and blinking light. Not a prop has moved the slightest . Just seems like they are on different wave-lengths . I flat out won't work outside of inside. Unhappy 2 say the least. DRONIUM ONE WITH CAMERA

Flew about 12 times over 3 months and now won’t even setup with controller. Batteries all charged, piece of junk, do not buy.

I could use some help with the Dronium 3x drone

I had this for just a few days and I already like it. I have yet to fly it outside but today, while testing it briefly inside, I cannot get the quad copter to launch or even spin it’s blades, even slightly. The batteries are newish so I don’t think that that is the problem and the quadcopter and controller do see each other and I can do the beginning calibration without a problem.

It is just that none of the blades spin at all and I am curious on what I am doing wrong. Thanks for your help,

Paul

Had it for about 3 weeks. Replaced a motor, and gears on one engine, got it working again. Flies great, bought 2 more batteries, now it won' even power on. Tried 3 different fully powered batteries, dead to the world. I'e spent more time working on getting this to work than flying it. Not recommending it at all.

One engine won't spin took of blade no clogs reset but still one engine down hellllp

just fixed all the pinions and have all my blades spinning but can not get lift off. everytime it goes to take off the front left never leaves the ground? any tip?

I bought a dronium 3x and one blade does not spin I spun it by hand with a tap in both directions and it spun but the caught a bump and stopped, is this an easy fix or complete motor replacement?

Can you use the app to fly as a controller? And my phone does not pick up the Wi-Fi?

John Haney - Replica

good day!  ever since I bought my dronium one I could never use it.  I loaded it but it only turns on an internal blue light and the propellers never moved.  what should I do?  thanks

Mariano - Replica

you could give it to me
