Lights Are Flashing
After the machine heats up, the light remains blinking at irregular intervals.
Machine is stuck in descaling mode
Descaling is a type of required maintenance for Nespresso machines to remove mineral deposits and scale buildup that can accumulate over time. Descaling your machine regularly is essential for ensuring optimal performance and high-quality taste.
When a Nespresso Pixie enters descaling mode, it will prompt the user to perform the steps via a blinking light. Once completed, the flashing should subside.
If it continues, the machine is stuck in descaling mode. Users should press and hold the flashing buttons for up to five seconds until a clear beep is heard. This should reboot the machine so that it exits descaling mode.

There is scale buildup
If the flashing persists or if the light is red despite rebooting the machine, the issue may be attributed to persistent scale buildup. Disassemble and clean the removable parts. First, pull out the drip tray, tank tray, and internal water tubes. Then, fill a 20 oz (600 ml) container with Nespresso descaling liquid and fresh drinking water. Submerge the tubes into the container with the mixture. Allow the tubes to rest in the solution for 10 minutes. Do not allow the descaling solution to have contact with your eyes, skin, and surfaces.
Tools required: Descaling solution and fresh water
The machine is airlocked
Fill the water tank to a quarter of its capacity with water. Insert a clean and steady straw into the hole at the bottom of the tank. Perform three suction actions to extract water and air. Keep the straw in the hole, and blow into it three times. Finally, press the large button to activate the machine. This procedure should resolve any airlock issues.

The machine is overheated
Unplug the machine and do not use it for at least 30 minutes. This will treat a machine that may have overheated from too much use.

There is an electronic fault
A quick triple flashing light indicates an electronic fault in the appliance. If this is the case, please contact Nespresso’s customer support team. They can provide specific guidance based on the model of your machine.

Water Will Not Pour
The machine will not poke a hole in the capsule or dispense any kind of water.
The water tank is empty
Unlatch your water tank to see if it has enough water in it. If your water tank is not filled up to the appropriate level, then try the brewing process again. Be sure to always have your tank as full as possible before initiating brewing. Ideally, it will always be filled at least a quarter or half of the way. If you initiate brewing with less than a quarter tank of water, air bubbles could form.

The water inlet is blocked
First, detach your water tank and then identify the inlet. If it is clogged, it will need to be fixed before the machine can brew properly. Refrain from using sharp objects to clear the clog. Instead, use a damp towel to clean out the inlet. Wash it thoroughly then fill up the tank with clean drinkable water.
Tools required: A damp towel
The pipes are clogged
First, detach your water tank and then identify the water inlet. Next, fill a turkey baster with fresh, drinkable water. Next, place the turkey baster into the inlet to create an airlock. Once it's positioned, squeeze it in the inlet to clear the clogged pipes. As a next step, you will need to descale your coffee maker with descaling solution and fresh water.
Tools required: A small turkey baster

Water Is Leaking
If the Nespresso Pixie coffee maker is leaking, then use the steps below as a guide for troubleshooting.
The valve pump is clogged
Mineral deposits will stop proper water flow. Check if the tube is clear and allows water to flow freely. If not, remove the valve and clean it or replace if necessary.
There are cracks in the water tank
Damage can happen, especially if the machine is well-loved. The parts that are most delicate and prone to damage are the removables ones. If you notice leakage, check for cracks in the machine's water tank. You can do this by filling it with water over the sink and observing if any leaks out.
The internal components are broken or faulty
If the leakage is still occurring, an internal component may have been damaged. You can disassemble the machine and inspect it thoroughly for any tears or damage.
In some cases, this might just be the result of the parts getting loose and disconnected. This can be resolved by tightening them firmly once you reassemble the machine.
Coffee Is Leaking Too Slowly
The quality of the capsule is poor
Check the capsules for any visible damage or punctures. If a capsule is compromised, replace it with a new one.
The machine requires maintenance
Regularly clean and descale your Nespresso Pixie machine as per the manufacturer's instructions. This will help maintain optimal performance.
The pressure is inaccurate
Check for any visible leaks, and if the machine is under warranty, contact Nespresso for assistance. If not, you may need to take the machine to a service center for repairs.
