Device not powering on

The tablet does not power on when the power button is pressed.

Dead battery

Before you think that the entire tablet is trash, simply plug the power cable into your Envizen V100M tablet. With the tablet connected to a power source, the tablet should be able to be powered on by pressing the power button. To see if the battery can hold a charge, allow for the tablet to charge for a few minutes then unplug the tablet from the power supply. If the tablet shuts off right away then the tablet's battery is broken and should be replaced.

Power button stuck

If you do not keep the power button clean it may become stuck. If your power button is stuck try to clean any dirt around the power button. You can also use a small thin object like a toothpick or pin to scrape around the button to free it so that it can be pressed.

Restarting the Tablet

If the tablet cannot power down a simple reset could possibly fix the problem. To reset, hold down the power button for 25 seconds and release the button; this should force a reboot of the tablet. Depending on the issue, you may have to repeat this process a few times before the reboot is successful. If you continue to have problems and cannot get the tablet to reboot, try plugging the tablet into a wall charger for approximately 15-20 minutes and retry this process. Most of the time restarting the tablet will clear the issue. You can also wait for the battery to die; this will force a restart. If you still continue to have issues restarting, a software issue may be the problem.

Stored data on the device is not accessible

The data on the device is no longer accessible through the tablet.

Getting the data of the device

If you are able to not read the data that was saved on your tablet you can still access your saved data most of the time. Connect the tablet to a computer and once the computer recognizes the tablet you can then move to extracting the data off the tablet. Once the your data is off the tablet, you can try to reset the tablet to factory new. This may cause for the storage to be reset, and can once again be accessed from the tablet. Then you can move your data back onto the tablet. If that does not work the storage on the tablet may be physically damaged and may need to be replaced.

No sound from the device

While the tablet plays audio, no sound is heard from the tablets speakers.

Volume on mute/low

If there is no sound coming from your device, it may just be because the volume is too low or on mute. To check if the volume is on mute simply turn the volume up. The volume buttons are located on the side of your device and are marked accordingly. Try this fix first as it is the easiest.

Loose wires

If turning the volume up on your device did not work, the problem may be internal. The wires connecting the speakers to the device may be loose. To check this, first turn off your device and carefully remove the back cover from the device. The speakers are glued into the back cover of the Envizen V100M tablet and the wires connect to the main circuit board of the tablet. To see if this fix worked, reconnect the wires and replace the cover before turning the device back on.

No image on the screen

When the device is powered on the screen remains black showing no image.

Restarting the Tablet

If the screen freezes up during use there are a few ways to fix it. To reset hold down the power button for 25 seconds and release the button; this should force a reboot of the tablet. Depending on the issue, you may have to repeat this process a few times before the reboot is successful. If you continue to have problems and cannot get the tablet to reboot, try plugging the tablet into a wall charger for approximately 15 to 20 minutes and retry this process. Most of the time restarting the tablet will clear the issue. You can also wait for the battery to die; this will force a restart. If you still continue to have issues restarting, a software issue may be the problem at hand.
