Hi, Are you referring to the front lcd glass/ bezel cover: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/New-Apple-MACBOOK-PRO-13-13-3-Front-LCD-Glass-Bezel-cover-A1278-A1342-/251162038036?pt=US_Laptop_Screens_LCD_P... This one listed on ebay cost around $28USD (brand new). Replacing it aint easy as it is held on by glue which you'll need a heat gun to soften the glue. Plus a lot of strength! >.< If it is the hinge clutch cover: http://www.ebay.com.sg/itm/Macbook-Unibody-13-Non-Pro-A1278-Genuine-Hinge-Clutch-Cover-Assembly-GLP-/400385819978?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash... This one is listed on ebay for about $16USD. Replacing this is very easy.
Hi not sure if it would help, try taking the batteries out from the camera and leave it out of camera for a few hrs (2 maybe?). While waiting, try to power on the camera the normal way to discharge any possible remaining power. Then, reinsert the batteries back into the camera and power on to see if it helps. Some machines somehow needs a full discharge to 'help erase' issues it has and encountered and to restart afresh.. Not sure the terms are correct but thts how i learnt over the years. Hope the above helps! Good Luck! :)
Hi not sure exactly what is the problem you are facing. But could you try this out: http://www.apple.com/sound/faq.html It maybe that the volume limit is on? I usually dont recommend fixing earphones as they usually are inexpensive and not worth the trouble fixing (if there is any chance). Replacing it entirely with a brand new one might save you more time and trouble. Do let us know exactly the problem and see if we can help you in detail! ;) Good Luck.
Hi am using my A1278 typing this reply! Anyways, i have this prob recently too. Was trying to fix my wifi mod, which failed after upgrading to lion and disconnected my keyboard flex cable alot. (i had other issues like failed usb etc thus needed to take the board apart to verify stuffs). In the end, the flex cable connections got worn off and i could not power on my mac. Shorting pin 5 and 6 worked for me but its not a perm solution (considering you have to open the bottom case, identifying the pin, short it and put it back again :P) Thus i highly recommend you to purchase a new keyboard with power button. You can look for it on ebay, i paid around $16USD for a second hand keyboard and now its working fine!! :) Hope it helps... i had a hard time trying to 'fix' this problem thinking it was something else that failed; only to find out it was the flex cable fault. One tip, apply adhesive tape on the flex cable to enable you to put in or pull out the cable with ease! (trust me, i learnt it the hard way)......
Hi, i always have problem with putting phone in dfu. Try this link, follow the video posted there and follow the timing stated. http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.ph... With some luck, you may be able to boot into dfu and do a recovery to factory default via itunes. Dont ask me why i cant count the seconds, am either too fast or too slow... :p Good luck.
Hi, i recently had similar problem with my A1278 mbp. As mayer mentioned, reapply thermal paste to the cpu and gpu cards should do the trick. Be sure to use good thermal paste to ensure better heat dissipation from the chip to the hsf.
Hi Aldo, as with all fairly new product, you can try using your warranty (if its not already expired) to see if Sony can troubleshoot the problem for you first. At least that diagnosis will be by professionals. Likelihood if water has seeped into your MDR1KX, it might void the warranty. If your warranty is over, you might want to open up and check the bluetooth module if it is still working. Hope that helps.
This product is still under warranty at the moment so I wouldn't want to risk taking that apart. But I highly presume the process should almost be the same.

Hi I'm not sure why you would want to remove the Bluetooth module. Anyways it should be on the board of the side I showed in the tear down.

Hi Tim, you could try aliexpress.com to see if they have it. This product is pretty new thus might be difficult to find.
