Home button not working after screen replacement?
I put the old cracked screen on and it works. Put the new screen on and it doesn't function at all. Help?

Definitely try a new display, sometimes the ribbon cable that runs behind the plate on the screen that connects the home button to the circuit board doesn't work.

Yup, a new display did it. Very unfortunate that that cable being bad basically renders the whole display useless in a sense. Manufacturer defect for sure. Thanks for the help.
