Stuck on start screen
I have NO idea what's going on. I haven't dropped it, broken the screen or anything. However whenever I try to power it on, it stays on the start screen.

Hi,
Firstly, just try charging the phone. If this works, how much charge is in the battery? If low, fully charge, then try to turn on phone.
If this fails, try connecting the phone to a PC. See if it works. Hopefully it does, so that you can back up all your phone data to the PC in case in freezes again.
As a last resort you can try a hard reset
WARNING! Master resetting your smartphone will result in the deletion of all personal data stored on the device, including downloaded content, images, custom ringtones, applications, contacts etc. All settings will be restored to factory values. Data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected.
Turn off your smartphone
Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons at the same time
When the "ZTE" logo appears on-screen, release the keys
Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "wipe data / factory reset"
Press "Power" to select the option
Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "Yes -- delete all user data"
Press the "Power" key and wait for your smartphone to reboot
if you don't wish to do this, give ZTE support a call, they may have a less drastic option

I've tried this and my Android Trio won't pull up the factory reset option so what do I do?
Im not having that problem mine is turning on i dont have a screen
thank you so much yall the best
ZTE will not turn off and have had it charging all night
Please help me with this error message stock Android has stopped
Hi,
Firstly, have you tried just charging your phone. Does that work? If so how much charge is available?
If battery charge low try fully charging, then try turning phone on.
If that doesn't help try connecting your phone to a PC. See if this unfreezes your phone. Hopefully it will because then you will be able to back up the data on your phone to your PC in case it freezes again
The only thing left to try is to do a hard reset which will do the following so be very aware' and if you don't want to do it contact ZTE who may have a less drastic option
"Master resetting your smartphone will result in the deletion of all personal data stored on the device, including downloaded content, images, custom ringtones, applications, contacts etc. All settings will be restored to factory values. Data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected."
To apply this reset do the following
Turn off your smartphone
Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons at the same time
When the "ZTE" logo appears on-screen, release the keys
Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "wipe data / factory reset"
Press "Power" to select the option
Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "Yes -- delete all user data"
Press the "Power" key and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Honestly my zte v795 cant change its behavior,i ve tried hard resetting but it still remain on logo
I have the same problem. It gets stuck on the white metropcs screen and won't boot into android. I've tried restarting the phone. That doesn't help. I can't even turn it off. It was around 70% battery life or so. Now it just sits on that %#*@ white screen. There's no way for me to go back into android or reset the piece of junk. It's late at night and tomorrow is thanksgiving.
I have tried that but it still goes back to the android recovery screen and does not let me get out
Yes same thingis happening to me.I take battery out then try different combos till I got to hard reset which I did but still stuck on white logo screen
phone is a day old only! Can anyone help?
Hi @dawhoda ,
If it is only a day old return it under warranty and ask for a replacement or refund.
If the retailer won't help consult the manufacturer's warranty statement (usually found in the User Guide) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer's warranty repair, replacement or refund
Hi,
Hope this link will help you troubleshoot the fault

I have a ZTE pro max that's been in field test mode for a day in half. I tried holding the power and the down volume key at the same time to get it out the ftm that didn't work and I also tried holding the power key and the up volume key to get out of the field test mode and that didn't work.. so what else is there to do to get it out of that mode so I can get my music and pictures and texts messages with out doing a master reset where I lose everything??
I have a ZTE z982 phone from Metro PCS that repeats itself continuously. Vibrates when powering on, it progresses to the ZTE page then discontinues and start all over again the same process. Does anybody out there have any suggestions on how to fix this problem thank you
If you have tried a factory reset and it still doesn't start correctly, as it is only 2 months old I suggest that you verify the purchase date and then consult the manufacturer's warranty information that came with the phone's documentation, as to what you have to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.
If you can't find the information these are the relevant passages from the warranty document (see link),
https://www.zteusa.com/media/pdf_files/C...
''For warranty service information, please call the following telephone number: 1-877-817-1759, 1-212-444-0502 or return to the point of sale for the products. The retailer can return the units to ZTE authorized service center in US for repair service
Seller will, at its sole and absolute discretion, either repair or replace a product (which unit may use refurbished parts of similar quality and functionality) if found by Seller to be defective in material or workmanship, or if Seller determines that it is unable to repair or replace such Product, Seller will refund the purchase price for such Product, provided that the subject Product (i) is returned to a Seller authorized service center within the one year warranty period, and (ii) is accompanied by a proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice which evidences that the subject Product is within the one year warranty period.''

My zte android cell phone is stuck on the zte android screen. I've factory reset it and. Wiped the data but it still stuck. I don't have a pc if that a nother way to fix the problem. Please help. !!! Thank you
Hi @Lisa lujan,
How long have you had the phone? If you have had it from new for 12 months or less, consult the warranty documentation that came with the phone (or go to the manufacturer's website -look for warranty) as to what you have to do to make a claim for a warranty repair or replacement.
If it is older than that have you tried a reset again? Make sure that the battery is fully charged before you do it.
Means you have too many apps on that little phone
My phone has been transferred to me by my paw paw he had this phone before me he did not sign out of his account I made my own and it still didn't work I signed into my WIFI and guess what it STILL didn't work how can I fix this phone before I flip out on it. And also I can't do anything help me someone.
first off you cant power off when its in this mode. or remove battery. but definetly a lot of correct steps stated... zte white screen wont boot up... (removed sd card first) press power button and dont let go of it till you get to the restore options by doing these steps.. while pressing pwr button in just as if to power off till goes black imedietly press volume up and hold. before you feel that start up vibration. remember you never stopped holding power button in. now with volume up button pressed in with power button... as soon as it goes black and the restore options pop up..then only relese volume button up . dont let go power button yet... give it a second then release power button... use volume down button to select option.good luck.

Did this. On the screen now. No restore options. Only reboot, apply update, wipe data and wipe cache.
Master reset always helps, just don't forget to do backups :)

I had this problem with two phones and had to factory restore them. But I figured it out! For whatever dumb reason, the restart is tied to the onboard apps. If you disable any of the apps the phone came with, it will endlessly refresh on the reboot screen. I don't know which app specifically since that'd be a lot of factory reboots, so I'd suggest just not touching any if them.
