Lenovo Thinkpad S440 Laptop not switching on at all.

Hi

I have a Lenovo S440 that I have had for 18 months. However today it will not power on. When I plug in the charger the led blinks 3 times to say it is charging and then when I push the power button the led lights up but nothing happens. You can not here the CPU fans or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Try the emergency reset procedure.

Here is a link to the user manual. Scroll to p101 in the manual, section headed "Computer stops responding" and follow the instructions.
