HP Stream 8 Battery Replacement

Vai al passo 1If your HP Stream 8 model 5801 battery needs to be replaced because it has lost the ability to hold a charge, then this is the guide for you.
The battery provides power to the tablet. A faulty battery or battery that isn't able to hold a charge properly needs to be replaced.
Before using this guide, make sure you are using the original HP brand cable and AC/DC adapter. You should also make sure you have the adapter plugged directly into the wall outlet. If you charge your tablet for an hour and still have no charge, continue to follow this guide and replace your battery.
A punctured battery can cause a dangerous fire. If your battery is swollen, please review What to do with a swollen battery.
Before you begin, power down your device completely and disconnect from any power source.
