Device Not Charging

The case and/or individual earbuds will not charge or show any signs of life.

Faulty Power Cable

Plug the case into the power cable. Check to see if the light is on inside the case. If the light does not turn on, buy a new cable for the device.

Faulty Case

Plug the case into the power cable. If the light does not turn on even after buying a new cable, buy a new case for the device.

Faulty Earbuds

Plug the case into the power cable. If the light turns on, but the earbuds are not charging, replace the battery inside of each individual earbud or replace the earbuds entirely.

Device Pairing Issues

The case and/or earbud will not connect to the device properly.

Faulty Earbuds

Take the earbuds out of the case and press the button on the earbuds. If a white light does not turn on, replace the earbuds or change the motherboard for the device.

Charge wireless earbuds & Charging case

Make sure the earbuds and charging case are both fully charged before attempting to pair the device to your phone/laptop/tablet.

Make sure both devices are compatible

Make sure both devices are compatible with each other, some phones have an older Bluetooth so check the supported versions on the headphones and device to ensure that they are compatible.

Case Charging Issues

The charger connecting to the case is failing to charge the earbud battery.

Faulty outlet

The first thing to check if your earbuds are not charging would be the outlet you are using. If the outlet is not working, try a nearby different outlet in another room.

Faulty charging wire

Sometimes the wire itself or the charging head may be faulty so try switching it out and using a new head and new wire.

Case issues

Make sure your case is fully intact and not faulty. Slight damage to the motherboard inside it or other wires is enough to prevent the charging of the case.

Microphone Not Working

The microphone on one or both of the two earbuds is failing to pick up input.

Microphone is Obstructed

The simplest issue that could be causing the microphone to not take in feedback is something potentially blocking the microphone itself. Carefully remove said obstruction with a fine point while not piercing the microphone itself.

Reset Your Device

Sometimes all the microphone needs are a restart in order to set up properly. Put the earbuds back into the case, let them turn off and reset, and then take them back out and try again.

Microphone Connection Severed

Constant movement and motion may negatively impact the connection between the motherboard in the earbud and the microphone itself. Carefully pry open the earbud and look to see the condition of the wire that connects the microphone and board inside.

One Earbud Is Not Working

An issue where one earbud is not playing any sound.

Make sure the device is charged with enough power in the case and each earbud.

If one earbud is seemingly not connected or dead, it may not be charged. Put both earbuds back in the case and plug them into the wall using the power adapter/charger. There is an LED indicator light at the base of the stem of each earbud indicating whether or not they are charging (therefore not charged enough to pair). When the earbuds are in the case the LED is facing up towards the ceiling and if it shows a red light that means it is charging, if it does show this red light, you then have to wait and charge them up and try again to see if they are working together, once fully charged.

Reset device Bluetooth

This could be a slight disconnect between the earbuds and your device. What could help fix this is putting the headphones back in the case, then letting them turn off. Then turn off Bluetooth on your desired device, wait 15 seconds, then turn Bluetooth back on, on your device. Now you may put the headphones in again/pair them again, to see if they are both working together.

Forget the device

If the first option did not work, then you can try this solution.

Also: If your device has already been paired and is not working this solution may be for you.

With both devices on and paired (if one earbud is not working), go onto your phone, tablet, or related device that you are trying to pair the earbuds to go into your Bluetooth settings, click on the information icon for your heyday true wireless earbuds, and click forget device. This will completely unpair your device with the earbuds, so it is as if they had never been paired before.

Now that they are completely unpaired, pair the earbuds with your phone as if they are brand new. This may allow both earbuds to work together properly.

Earbuds Not Turning Off

When the earbuds stay on and don’t turn off.

Reset the Earbuds

You can reset them by placing them back in the case. Make sure that the case is charged when attempting this. The earbuds will always be on if they are out of the case unless they are dead so the only way to turn them off is by doing this step.

Allowing Earbuds to Die

If the earbuds are refusing to turn off, you could use them or leave them out of the case until they die. Then place them back in the case so they can charge back up.

My issue is that they only play in one ear. I have tried resetting, forgetting the device, etc. and nothing works. I can switch back and forth between which one plays but they will not play at the same time.

Put them in the case …while in the case hold both ear buds with thumbs until they blink white together In sync Problem solved

Jonathan Harbor -

Same problem they both won’t work only one!

Kristina Rodriguez - Replica

My left ear bud will not sync or work. It shows red the entire time and has been charging for 24 hours. I tried all of the resets and repairs in this article. Any other way to get it to work? Or is it just broke…they are pretty much brand new only used them a handful of times.

Susan Smerdel - Replica

My problem is that one headphone has charged but there is no sign of life in the other one, it won't light up, charge or pair. Anyone know why this is the case?

Tia Drayton - Replica

Same problem as me.

Geramiel Hyman -

Ditto! Only my right bud will work.

Sandy - Replica

Ditto . Mine didn’t pair. I forget the device and now the Bluetooth doesn’t even reade them 🙄

Rebeca - Replica

So I have tried to reset my earbuds, and in the charging case, the right earbud will have a red light on and the left earbud will have a white light on and the charging case lights are not even on. What is this mean?

Natalie Yell - Replica

Same problem as me

Geramiel Hyman -

Also, my left one refuses to work and the volume is so low on the right AirPod. I can hardly hear. Is there a way to turn up the volume or just completely reset both earbuds.

Natalie Yell - Replica

Same issue but what do I expect? They are cheap earbuds, should've gone with AirPods and be done with it. They are garbage obviously. Now I'm sure Target won't refund me for these.

Valeria Mera - Replica

Only one of them looks ready to pair. The other is flashing a white light

Juno H - Replica

The right one just has a solid white light on while the left one functions as-is.

Matthew McDaniel - Replica

Left one stays on red light so its always charging

Steven M Sliwa - Replica

My left earbud won’t charge in the case.

Carrie - Replica

It's still not pairing together. Money wasted.

Kennedy Williams - Replica

kyle - Replica

You have to help me they won't charge when I place them in the case for some reason. The case is fully charged and the earbuds are now dead I've tried everything like cleaning the conductive things in the heyday earbuds and case please help me.

Put them in the case …while in the case hold both ear buds with thumbs until they blink white together In sync Problem solved

Jonathan Harbor - Replica

My earbuds won't charge, and I've already made sure the case was charged and that they were clean, but every time I put them in the case they start charging for a moment before the lights turn off. They're both dead so it's not that they are fully charged, they just start charging and then immediately stop and I have no idea why. There's not any internal or outer damage to them or the case. What do I do?

Ariana Romero - Replica

These things suck. First pair and I’ve had constant problems with one or both disconnecting since I got them. I’ve reconnected, factory reset, forgotten the device. Nothing fixes it. If I get them both to work for a minute they work for 5 and then one starts to be out of sync with the audio and then ultimately enters pairing mode again and won’t pair. Total waste of money.
