Antenna does not work

The antenna is not working

The antenna is loose

Movement and travel could cause the antenna to get loose or fall out. This can be fixed by ensuring the screw and washer sit tight on the antenna. The base of the antenna should be stagnate on the controller and fit tight to ensure it doesn't get loose again.

  • Step 1: Place the antenna on the port
  • Step 2: Make sure the nut in the box is tight
  • Step 3: Tighten the nut on the outside until the antenna is fit

For a more detailed guide, refer to:

The wire is disconnected from the motherboard

The antenna wire could have come out and disconnected from the motherboard. Carefully connect the socket on the motherboard to the connector on the wire. For instructions to fix it are here.

For a more detailed guide, refer to:

The antenna could not be properly connected to the controller

The antenna box should be connected in two places. It should be connected in the back and a second wire in the front. Make sure that both connections fit in their proper location.

  • Step 1: On the controller, there are five tongs. Carefully align the box with the tongs; it should fit flush.
  • Step 2: A wire comes out of the controller, and a rectangle on the top left of the box. Carefully plug the wire into the box and ensure it won't fall out.

Button input lag or no response

Buttons are stuck, broken, or the buttons are missing

Buttons are sticking when being pressed

Make sure the area around the buttons is debris-free before attempting to push the buttons. For a simple fix,

  • Step 1: Take a brush and clean the gaps and edges of the button, be sure to get as deep in the gaps as possible.

If the problem persists, refer to:

No response when pressing a button

Buttons can break internally or externally, as a result they will not provide a response. To fix this you must replace the entire button motherboard. Link to the replacement part here. Button Motherboard

Springs Are Broken Or Missing

Switches aren't working

Your switch isn’t doing the intended input for any reason

The switch is clogged with debris

This is possibly due to dust and debris accumulating inside the gaps of the switch. If this is the case, the fix is quite simple.

  • Step 1: Grab a needle or something small enough to get into the gaps and break up the dirt and debris.
  • Step 2: After that, it is recommended to use some compressed air to clean the gaps thoroughly.

Wires are not connected properly to the switch

Over time, the wires connected to the switch may have been disconnected or broken. This is possible to diagnose and fix by opening the controller and assessing the damage. To do this, refer to the guide linked:

The switch is broken and needs to be replaced

Repeated switch use will cause the switch’s internal components to break down. This can only be fixed by replacing the entire switch.

The controller features do not turn on

The controller and or features do not turn on

The batteries are dead

The most common reason the controller is not turning on is because the batteries are dead and need replacing. If you would like to do this, please follow the steps below.

  • Step 1: Locate the battery compartment on the back, Grab both ends, and pull down until the compartment opens up.
  • Step 2: Locate the battery pack containing all of the batteries, and pull it out (Make sure to be gentle as not to break the wire connected)
  • Step 3: Replace all of the batteries with fresh, working batteries

For a more detailed guide, Refer to:

The display screen is displaying a switch error

When the controller displays an error message that says "switch error", you will need to follow a few steps to turn that message off

  • Step 1: Turn the controller off
  • Step 2: Switch the front panel switches in the upright position
  • Step 3: Switch the top panel switches towards the back of the remote
  • Step 4: turn remote back on

The battery harness is broken

Repeated impact and rough treatment can cause the harness to crack or break. If this is the case, you must replace the harness entirely. For a more detailed guide, Refer to:

Joysticks aren't working

The joystick does not work and moves on its own

Loose Joysticks

Joystick is not functional because it can become loose over time.

Often with controls, the joystick that controls most movement can become loose or too tight. This is adjustable by design, to do so refer to:

Stick Drift

Over continued use, the joystick tends to move on it's own without you moving the joystick. This is fixable by replacing the entire joystick. For a more detailed guide, Refer to:

Loose Spring in Joystick

The main joysticks have springs that help maintain stability and hold them in place. Whenever the switch does not move or is moving on the springs, it could be out of place or worn out. For a detailed guide refer to:
