No matter what you do, you can't get your laptop to power on.

If your device won't turn on, you may simply have a drained battery. Plug in your charger, wait a few minutes, and try to power on the device again.

It is possible your battery may just be dislodged. Remove the battery, reattach it, and try charging it again.

If your device won't charge and there is no charging light, you may simply have a faulty charger. Make sure the charger is plugged into a working electrical outlet.

No matter what you do, your laptop screen stays blue.

Sometimes your device freezes. This can be caused by anything. Try turning off the device. Press the power button. If no response, press and hold the power button. Lastly, try removing the battery.

The blue screen of death can occur when there is a RAM failure. There is not enough storage to start and run the computer. To check and see if there is a bad stick of RAM, download and run the program “memtest86”. Restart you computer and run the test multiple times in order to make sure all of the problems are detected.

Blue screen of death with hardware can be fixed checking to see if the internal hardware has a bad connection. To test the hard drive run the chkdsk function which will search for errors and other problems.

During use, the device has drastically increased time to open files and applications.

If the storage on the computer is full or close to full, it will slow down the computer. In order to clean this up, open a program called “Disk Cleanup.” Finish running the program and delete all unnecessary files to clean out storage. If that cleans up a lot of storage space and your computer is still under performing, there is probably another issue with the laptop. You may want to go through your folders and delete large unnecessary files.

Close all of your programs that you are not using. This may help increase the speed of your device. Open up task manager by pressing “Ctrl + Alt + Delete” together. Check the “Processes” tab to check the running programs. If you have programs eating up the CPU or memory, clearing them away from that should help.

If you have a virus or trojan, that will slow down your computer. Download an antivirus program like Norton, McAfee, AVG Antivirus, etc. Run the program to check if there are any viruses. If there are you may be able remove the virus. If you are not able to remove the virus using a program, you may need to restore your computer to a previous date. You have to go to Control Panel, System Restore, and pick a date where you remember your computer running normally.

In order to check if you have RAM failure, go to control properties, and system properties. Under the RAM check if the RAM is less than what was listed on your device ahead of time. If RAM is not working, you may have to replace your RAM. For instructions on replacing your RAM, follow this guide.

If an actual key is damaged or broken, it is easy to replace. Simply pull up on the key and it should pop off. To replace, set the correct key in the right spot and press down to snap it in place.

A common problem why the keyboard does not work is because the connection between the key board and the motherboard. Remove the keyboard and make sure it is still connected. For more help removing the keyboard, follow this guide.

No matter what you do, every installation fails.

If programs won't install correctly, your device may be out of memory. Go to settings, and click on PC info. There you should find some thing like, "Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (XXX GB usable)." If that number is zero, you need to delete some files.

It is possible the problem lies with the program you are trying to install. Every program comes with system requirements. Be sure to check these before downloading anything.
