LEDs aren't changing colors

The colored lights behind the keys are not lighting up like they are supposed to.

Color changing key is stuck or not functioning

Check to make sure that the key is not stuck in place, and will return to its original position after pressed. If the key doesn’t appear to be sticking, there may be an issue within the circuitry of the keyboard itself. See the key repair guide for details: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color Key Replacement Replacement.

LEDs aren’t turning on

The colored lights are not turning on under the keyboard.

Keyboard isn’t receiving power

Plug the keyboard in and test to see whether the keys are functioning. If the keys aren’t working, the keyboard itself may not be receiving power through the USB connection. See the USB Outlet repair guide for detailed instructions on how to replace a non-functioning USB connection: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color USB Outlet Replacement.

Color changing key is stuck or not functioning

Check to make sure that the key is not stuck in place from crumbs or debris. If not, check to make sure the key is not stuck in place, and will return to its original position after pressed. If the key doesn’t appear to be sticking, there may be an issue within the circuitry of the keyboard itself. See the key repair guide for details: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color Key Replacement Replacement.

Faulty LEDs

If the keys are continuing to function while the backlight is off, it is possible that the LEDs themselves are damaged and need to be replaced. See the LED light repair guide for detailed steps on how to repair damaged LEDs: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color LED Backlight Replacement.

LED lights are turning on and off

The colored lights are flickering.

Loose wiring

See whether the lights flicker in response to the keyboard being shaken. If they do, this is likely an indication that a piece of wiring inside of the keyboard is loose. For a repair guide on how to replace faulty wiring, see the LED light repair guide: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color LED Backlight Replacement.

USB cable is damaged

Check whether the keys continue to function when the LED lights turn off. If they do not, the keyboard is likely losing power. This can be caused by a faulty connection between the USB cable and the keyboard. See the USB Outlet repair guide for details on how to replace a faulty USB connection: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color USB Outlet Replacement.

Keys aren’t working properly

The keys on the keyboard are not working when pressed.

Keys are dirty

Check whether the keys are visibly sticky or dirty, or whether there are crumbs or dirt in between the keys. In this case, the keys may need to be cleaned with compressed air in order to prevent dirt from interfering with the contacts between the keys and the circuit board.

Keyboard isn’t receiving power

Check whether the backlight is working. If neither the backlight nor the keyboard itself is functioning, the keyboard may not be receiving power through the USB connection. See the USB Outlet repair guide for detailed instructions on how to replace a non-functioning USB connection: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color USB Outlet Replacement.

Keyboard not connecting

The keyboard is not being detected by the computer when plugged into the USB outlet.

Faulty USB connection

Check to make sure the cable is completely plugged into the current USB port. If this is not working, attempt to plug the keyboard into another USB port. If this solves the issue then the error is with the original USB port; if this does not solve the issue, there may be an error with the keyboard’s hardware. See the USB Outlet repair guide for detailed instructions on how to replace a non-functioning USB connection: CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color USB Outlet Replacement.
