Crosley CR704 Troubleshooting

My crosley is off the red light not turn on "(

My Crosley is working except for the CD player which opens but does not close when you push the button, you have to put the power of and on. The main problem is the display screen, it just turns green, so no words to see what function was selected, e.g. cd or tuner......

Everything works except the bluetooth conector, it pairs with my devices but when I play something the audio barely sounds or is cut. What should I do?

My 2-year-old grandson “adjusted” the buttons on my model CT247 . Now it won’t come on. Pushing the power button produces a red “standby” light and sometimes a digital HELLO but nothing happens. Push the functions button and the HELLO goes away but the red light stays on. Any help appreciated. roy

My CD draw completely came out ! How can I get inside to screw the screws in ? The draw is screwed in right ? I tried threw the front but the options plate wont come off far enough to reach inside ? Do I take the bottom off ? I'm losing it with this radio !!! Lol

FM sound is good but there is no sound on AM. I’ve tried all of the above and still nothing.

i have a crosley CR78CD has not been used for some time. when turned on the stansby light is all i get. turntable , cd, cassette, or radio will not work. no readout of any kind appears on the screen. the cd door will not open. im careful in making sure the proper buttons are pushed when im trying activate different functions. What can I do???

I have Crosley director cd recorder model cr2405c-pa. Everything works except the record player. After putting a record on the platter and setting the button to Phono mode and I move the tone arm over and nothing. I took the back off and did a visual inspection which everything looks good. I left the back off and while looking inside I moved the tone arm and nothing. The cd, radio and cassette works. I want to know why the record player doesnt work? Could it be a faulty motor? How do I test it? I would use my KLH model 26 that was my moms when she was younger, but I took a break from repairing the platter and doing routine maintenance on it. I have a bunch of records I want to listen to. If I cannot get any help or cant fix it then I will continue listening to the radio, cds and cassettes on this Crosley until this summer (hopefully the Maine stay at home law will be over with) then I can finish my KLH.

My volume button all of a sudden turned very LOUD. Will not go to a lower volume. Took button off and turned lever as far left as possible. Still does not change volume. Any ideas?

my crossley won’t play cassettes and the cd player wob’t play every cd. Now it only plays records… the radio plays sometimes but it won’t tune very well… so i don’t know why i ever even bought this thing. It’s junk.

I love my Crosby radio ..cd ..tape ..and record player .. i have it a while and ever since i got it brand new my cd player has never worked .. need to know how to fix it .. no i have no receipt.. was bought at target in tulsa hills shopping center .. that's all i know

Crosby CR703 is working perfectly except the volume will randomly go to max occasionally during operation. Is this a resistor issue? Has anyone else had this issue?

The sound on my CR2405C unit just went out? It appears all of the devices (phono player, CD player, cassette player, AM/FM radio) are working. The volume control shows increasing/decreasing db levels when rotated. I do not see a line-in button anywhere. What else can I check? Any service recommendations? Thank You!

Radio will come on only for about one second then goes off. Have to Cycle switch on the back or it won’t even do this. All other working fine.

My Crosley 4 in 1 will literally not do anything it’s plugged in and it was working fine just this morning if anyone can help that’d be great :(

My Crowley CR 247 turn tables runs slow speed is not up to par. Is there a fix for it ?

The light for my crosley will turn on when I switch it to “Bluetooth” mode, and I am able to successfully connect my phone. However, when I switch it to “phono” mode, the red light flickers and the turn table does not move. I checked the belt - and that is fine. Any advice?

Turn table won’t spin take the E clip off center pin. Lift turn table up to see belt didn’t slip off. If so flip table over wrap belt around turn table stretching belt out to outer edge pin then put turn table on center pin with belt facing motor capstan. Then slightly turning the turn table to connect the belt good luck.

My Crosley CR7002D plays cassettes and saves the digital files output on the USB memory stick, but instead of playing the cassettes to the end, it stops somewhere on the way and goes to standby. Please help, what must i do to enable the system to play cassettes all the way to the end from start to finish?

I’ve been having difficulties with my crosley, I got it on sale last Christmas. So ofc I can’t return it now, I only used it a few times (2-3) for Christmas songs and such and I decided to use it today since I have a new record but for some reason the “disc plate” isn’t turning and the red light won’t come on but I hear a clicking sound like the motor inside is spinning and honestly I just have no clue what to do at this point, it might as well be decor for my living room.

I turn it on and when placing the arm/needle to record it just want to slide over record and not play it.

The speaker works with everything except the record player. Record spins and I can hear the music very very faintly. Is it the board between the the needle and the speaker? I replaced just the needle not the whole needle head assembly. Thank you

My Crosley will turn on and Hello appears in the radio screen....in about 30 seconds it will go to standby. Function button will not do anything, Turntable,radio,cassette player, or cd player will not work at all. (there isn't a cd in the machine, Does anyone know what is wrong with it ?
