University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Electrical Engineering
Once I finish my academic career, I aspire to become an electrical engineer. With the education I have gained in both my vocational electronics program, and from obtaining a bachelors in engineering, I want to work on furthering technology to solve issues that the world may face or is currently facing. Thanks to the time I have gained in both my vocational program and college education, I am experienced in tasks such as soldering, pcb design and fabrication, and programming. Some projects that I am proud to have created is an electronic dice, and a electronic coin flip. These projects required the use of many logic gates in order to work.
When it comes to my own time, I have always been interested with computers. Thanks to my interest in playing video games on my computer, I quickly got interested on how to make my computer run games faster. The first device I used to play games on was an older laptop that could barely run any modern games. This interest in trying to get the peak performance out of my device to play video games, made me become interested in computer components, and tricks to improve performance. Once I entered high school, I decided to join the electronics program that my Vocational High School offered. This program ignited my interest in electronics.
In my spare time, I love watching sports. I’m an extremely competitive person, so activities such as sports has been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a New England Patriots fan my whole life. Due to my team winning constantly at a young age, I’ve always strived to provide this same excellence in almost every aspect of my life.
