BIG omission after step 4. this guide fails to tell you how to remove the entire back of the laptop. That is doable, if you read the comments for step 4. but pictures would have been very helpful. However, there were two screws in the battery holding compartment which I had to remove, not one.

to remove the back, you have to remove all the philips screws. and then, it took some gentle but firm prying to get the back off.

You saved the day. the little connector doesn’t look like it’s out, but mine was. once I figured out how to reinsert it, the phone would turn on.
