asus zenbook ux481f Where should I buy a replacement battery?

Hello fixers,

I have searched for a new battery for my laptop as it no longer turns on unless plugged in. My searches have only yielded two options, one being an unbranded battery that is sold everywhere, or a Cameron Sino on techtekshop for twice the price.

This would be my first time fixing something and my instinct tells me not to get the cheap £40 battery from Ebay but I am getting mixed online reviews on the Cameron Sino which is why I am asking here if the brand is reliable? Or if anyone has an alternative, or other advice, I would be most grateful.

ifixit discourages recommending suppliers, unless they're for very hard to find parts, as it leads to an increase of spam being posted.

Having said that, search online for 0B200-03520100 (examples only).

This is the Asus part number for the battery and searching online for it may give you more results for suppliers. The reason is mostly laptop batteries can be and are used in more than one model series but the seller may not know this and therefore your model may not be listed as being compatible by them.

The part number should be printed on your battery if you wish to verify.

As for which one to buy from, use your instinct and go with that. Maybe check the seller's reviews etc regarding delivery, battery i.e. oem, compatible etc, returns policy etc before purchase.
