So I forgot my password on tablet. I've been trying to do the factory reset but when I hold the power, volume up, and home buttons instead having the reset options pop up I keep getting the custom os download page to pop up. What do I do? Can someone help?

The recovery screen just never comes up- just keeps going to samsung screen, black, then samsung screen again. when I release, brings me to password page- which I forgot

Try holding the Power, Volume Down and Home buttons and see what you get.
