If theres a SD port it would be on the sides, or the front. It could also be plugged with a blank to prevent dust from entering, if so give it a press and it will click

Thank you. It is in the middle front all by itself. I never noticed it before.
The blank is meant to only safe guard the slot, insert the card into the same slot without the blank and press in until it clicks. press in again to release but make sure you "safely remove hardware" so you wont corrupt data.

Only get first page of guide. There is a memory card reader on the left side of the satellite 665 laptop with a "blank" or tray in it which removes easily. This is a scan disk sdhc card which I wish to update a gps device. It doesn't fit properly in the blank.

Hi,
1.Turn the card so that the contacts (metal areas) are face down and towards the laptop as you insert it.
2 Push the card into the slot until it locks in place with a click
To remove the card first make sure that you 'remove the device' in Windows before pushing IN the card to release it. It will spring back out of the slot enough, so that you can grab hold of it to fully extract it.
