Dear Fixit,
I started having trouble with my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX80 last year. The on/off slider was sticking. Now it won't move it all. How can I get the button to the on position and then fix the lever so it will not stick again.

Alan Hall, that is a depends. You would have to partially disassemble your camera and check the button and how it fits on the actual switch at the power board. Take a look at it and post some images of what it looks like when you have it apart. Attached images should help you getting the back off.

Hello Mr. Alan, I'd be really grateful, if you could show me a clear picture about replacing the part that you call to your image above 'ANT note 2' suggesting not to touch the metal part! I dropped it, when I removed the back cover of my camera and now I cannot figure out where it fits! Thank you in advance!
