How can I fix a blank LCD screen?

Changed the screen and the LCD has stopped working, I've tried a different screen but I'm still getting the same issue. The touchscreen works as you can still switch the phone off and on, if you hold down the home button the voice control activates. Is it the LCD connector that's the problem and how can I fix it.
