The laptop will not respond to any input, and is not reacting to any user's action

Check if the battery is fully plugged into its port and secured and once it is, try turning the computer on. Or try plugging in the power adapter into the computer and letting it charge (on the safe side, try 30 minutes of charging before returning to the computer). If the computer doesn’t turn on with the adapter still plugged in refer to the “Power adapter/charger not charging” issue.

it’s possible your power button has been detached which is a wire underneath the power button that needs to be reattached to the motherboard.

If the computer turns on but doesn’t stay on without the adapter, allow the battery more time to charge. Also try replacing the battery using this guide.

There are possibilities that the battery port is likely no longer functioning. To fix this, try replacing the motherboard.

The laptop will not charge even it's plugged in

Make sure the power adapter is plugged in. And make sure the light on the adapter or the laptop is on. If the light is not on, and the adapter is plugged in, the adapter is faulty. Consider replacing a new adapter.

The monitor on your laptop has black bars (totally blank), is stretched, or distorted

Try restarting your laptop to see if it will boot again. If the screen remains blank, try to see if the screen can be displayed on an external monitor.

If the screen comes up, it is likely an issue with the screen directly which to access and/or replace, you may follow this guide. Otherwise, try removing the battery for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, place the battery back into the computer and then hold shift, F8, and the power buttons at the same time.

You’ll need to access the battery on the underside of the motherboard and use a soldering iron to remove the old one and replace it.

Your laptop does not load the Operating System and instead takes you to an error message.

Restart the computer again and when it reboots, hold down the F2 key until you enter the BIOS (basic input/output system) setup. While in the BIOS, go into the startup tab and try managing the boot order; ideally, (unless attempting to run an operating system/program externally) the boot order will be (from highest to lowest priority) one’s Hard Drive, CD Drive, USB ports (if available), and then the network (any other boot options should be pushed to after the network unless attempting troubleshooting with an external device like a USB).

Access the laptop’s hard drive using this guide. if the hard drive is still attached to the port when you access it, try to removing and plugging it back into the port. If your files cannot be read or the drive cannot be accessed, it may be that your hard drive has become corrupt and should be brought to a professional service to attempt the data recovery. If all of your files are accessible and readable, then it is likely an issue with the hard drive port which would essentially require a new computer or an entire motherboard replacement.

While using the laptop, your computer make weird noise and then shut off without notification.

Open up the laptop using this guide, and locate the cooling system . Then try to switch on the laptop to see if the cooling system is running. If this fails, replace the fan with a new one.

Make sure the laptop is shut off and use a compressed air duster to carefully blow the dust off the vents and fan.
