Device Not Charging

The charging cord is plugged in, but it does not charge.

Faulty Power Adapter

Make sure your use the correct plug. Plug the cord securely into the wall and the laptop. If the charger and device are both plugged, then the adapter is likely faulty. You may have to purchase a replacement adapter and cord.

Faulty Battery

Plug in the device without the battery inside. If the device powers on, then it is likely that the battery is faulty and you will need to replace it.

Broken Wall Outlet

Try a different outlet or test another device to check if the outlet is working.

WiFi Connectivity Issues

The device is not connecting to a wireless network.

Wireless Adapter is not Enabled

Ensure that there is no wireless icon button or switch that allows you to toggle the network on or off. Check the button or key status to verify if the wireless signal is on.

Wireless Driver Not Updated

From the Control Panel, find Device Drivers. Locate the wireless adapter driver. Right click the Network Adapter option and click the Update Driver option.

Automatic Troubleshooting Needs to Run

The device comes equipped with an automatic troubleshooting tool. To run the troubleshooting tool, right click the wireless icon in the toolbar at the bottom right of the screen. Select the troubleshoot problems option. The troubleshooter will then find a list of possible issues and attempt to fix them for you.

Screen is Black

Nothing is visible on the screen.

Display is Disabled

Make sure that the screen isn’t disabled on your device by pressing the function key and F2 (Fn + F2) while the device is powered on.

Faulty Screen

Make sure that the device is powered on and running. Then, check that the display isn’t disabled. If nothing is visible on the screen, the screen may be faulty or damaged and will need to be replaced.

Keyboard buttons producing unwanted characters

The screen shows different results than the buttons you`re pressing.

English Keyboard is Not Being Used

Go to the device's start menu and search for the option keyboards and language. Check to make sure that the current keyboard is set to English. If not, change the keyboard to English. If English is not available, add English as a language.

Keyboard Driver Needs to Be Restarted

Under the start menu, look for the device manager and find your current keyboard. Click on your current keyboard the selection menu and uninstall the keyboard. Restart the device and your driver should automatically reinstall.

Bluetooth Not Finding Devices

The device will not locate any of my Bluetooth devices.

Troubleshooting Required

You can find the troubleshooter by going to the device settings and search for the term, "troubleshooter". Run the hardware and device troubleshooter. This will scan for any issues related to connecting a device.

Driver Update Is Needed

You can check for driver updates in the device manager of your device's settings menu. This should install any new features and fix any problems related to connection issues.

Bluetooth Support Service Requires Restart

From the keyboard, press Windows key + R, then type "services.msc" into the search bar. Press enter.

Locate Bluetooth Support Service. Right click, then press restart.
