Motorola V60c Troubleshooting

Phone will not turn on

You have problems with getting your phone to turn on.

Insufficient time pressing PWR button

Press and hold the "PWR" button to the count of ten or until the phone responds.

Drained battery

Plug the phone into its charger and hold the "PWR" button. If the phone responds, then it needs to be charged. Let it stay connected for an hour, then try to use it again.

Non-functional battery

If the phone shuts off when unplugged from a power source, yet it functions while connected, the battery might be dead. To replace the battery see the Battery Replacement Guide.

Faulty display

If both the front and inside displays are broken, the phone might still be functional without your knowledge. Try replacing the displays.

Non-functional logic board

The phone's logic board might be faulty. Try replacing the logic board using the Logic Board Replacement Guide.

Buttons do not respond

Any or all of your buttons won't work.

One or more non-functional buttons

If this is the case, but the phone still works otherwise, then the phone's button board needs to be replaced. You can follow the Keypad Repair Guide to help you do this.

Faulty keypad logic board

If none of the buttons work, yet you can still press them, the logic board might need to be replaced. For this, see Keypad Logic Board Repair Guide.

Speaker or microphone does not work

You are unable to hear the caller or they cannot hear you..

Call waiting is on

Press the green Send/Call call button to see if you accidentally put the caller on call waiting.

Faulty speaker or microphone

The speaker or microphone might need to be replaced. Try replacing the piece that is broken.

Non-functional logic board

If the above steps have not fixed the problem, the logic board needs to be replaced. Please follow our Logic Board Repair Guide.

Phone overheats

Your phone gets too hot while making a call.

Antenna is down during a call

Pull up your antenna when making calls. This will keep the phone cooler.

It is essentially impossible to take apart the top cover. This means the microphone and both displays are inaccessible under most circumstances. If they are broken, the easiest fix is to simply replace the phone.
