Hub will not turn on

No matter what you do, you can't get the hub to turn on.

Hub not plugged in

Be certain that the hub is being supplied power. Make sure that the cord is plugged into both the wall and the hub.

Bad power cord to hub connector

It is possible that the connector for the power cord is damaged. This might be noticeable if the cord fits loosely. It could be cracked, and if the damage is not visible from the outside the hub will need to be disassembled and inspected from the inside as well. If damage is present the replace the connector.

Damaged hub board

It is possible that the board is damaged, and it will need to be inspected. To do this disassemble the hub and inspect the board for cracks or breakage. If damage is found the board will need to be replaced.

Wi-Fi not connecting

The hub will not connect to your phone via Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi turned off on phone

If there is no Wi-Fi connection between the phone and the hub, make sure to check the settings on your phone to insure the Wi-Fi is turned on.

Lights on hub not working

The lights on the hub will not illuminate.

Bad light bulb

To find out if the bulb is the issue the hub will need to be disassembled. Inspect the bulb for damage such as a broken filament. If the filament is broken the bulb will need to be replaced

Remote not working

One or more buttons on the remote do not respond to being pressed.

Dead battery

There is a great possibility that the battery is dead. If this is the case remove the battery cover and replace the battery

Damaged board

It is possible that the board is damaged, and it will need to be inspected. To do this disassemble the remote and inspect the board for cracks or breakage. If damage is found the board will need to be replaced.

Damaged battery contact

The battery contact my not have a good connection with the battery. If this is the case the remote will need to be disassembled in order to inspect the condition of the battery contact. It could be bent of broken. The metal is fairly ductile so try to bend the contact to get a better battery connection. If the contact is broken the board will need replaced or a new contact will need to be soldered.

Sticky remote buttons

The buttons on the remote do not return at all or have a delayed return to their original position after being pressed.

Dirty rubber button pad

The buttons could be sticking do to a dirty button pad. Buildup could be visible around the edges of each sticking button. If this is the case the remote will need to be disassembled, and the pad will need to be cleaned using soap and water.

Damaged rubber button pad

This could be a visible tear/rip in the rubber, but the buttons could also be worn out from excessive use. If this is the case the remote will need to be disassembled for inspection of the button pad, and it will need replaced if the damage causes the problem to continue.
