Treat tosser will not toss correctly
The treat tosser fails to toss out treats or becomes jammed.
Jammed treats
If your Furbo is failing to correctly toss treats, check to see if your treat dispenser is jammed.
- Empty out all treats and clean out any residual crumbs
- Begin shaking your Furbo dramatically to loosen jammed treats
- Dump treats out of the treat dispensing hole
- If this does not fix your issue please try the following:
- Insert a pen into the inner launcher to loosen the jammed treats into the tunnel
- Begin by shaking your Furbo and dump treats out from the treat hole
The treat tosser’s inner or outer launcher is stuck
The inner and outer launcher are responsible for properly tossing treats to your dog. To help resolve treat tossing issues, carefully examine the inner and outer launchers.
- Empty out all treats and insert your finger into the treat dispensing hole and push the tosser all the way back until you hear a clicking sound.
- Attempt tossing 4-5 times to ensure it will synchronize to a full treat tossing cycle.
- If this does not fix your issue please try the following:
- Turn your Furbo upside-down and shake multiple times to ensure that the treat tosser is functioning properly.
Treat tosser is not completing a full cycle
Issues with the treat tosser can be due to an incomplete treat tossing cycle. Restarting your Furbo will help reset the treat tossing cycle.
- Begin by unplugging your Furbo for 20 seconds and then plug it back in.
- Try and toss a treat.
- If this does not reset the treat tossing cycle then check to see if there are treats or crumbs jamming the mechanism by removing the bottom cover of your Furbo and gently shaking it.
If you are still experiencing issues, you can look at our guide for replacing the treat chamber.
No color display on the video stream
The video stream on the display of your smartphone or app has little to no color
Temporary software issues
The first thing to do when you have a discolored video stream is to unplug your Furbo dog camera and then plug it back in. This will frequently fix any issues that your camera is experiencing.
Incorrect night function setting
Sometimes the coloring of your video feed is incorrect because the night function setting is not properly set, affecting the quality of the recording. If your stream is black and white it means that your infrared settings are on during the day. To fix this, you need to open your Furbo app and edit the night vision setting.
- Open your Furbo app.
- Go to the menu page which should be found at the bottom right of your screen.
- Underneath the camera settings section select the camera that has the discolored video footage.
- From there you can select the night vision setting and adjust whether it is ON, OFF, or on AUTO.
- Select OFF or AUTO to turn off night vision.
Wi-Fi/connectivity problems
An issue with connectivity can cause distorted video feed and affect the color display. Reconnecting with the Wi-Fi can help fix this.
- Open your Furbo app.
- Navigate to the menu page at the bottom right of your screen.
- Select the Furbo camera that is having issues.
- Select the reset Wi-Fi tab.
- Set up Wi-Fi connection as usual.

- If steps 1 and 2 have not worked, switch from using Wi-Fi on your smartphone to 4g/LTE, or vice versa, then try reconnecting.
- If none of the previous steps have worked, try to connect on a different smart device. If another device works, uninstall/reinstall the app on the previous device and try reconnecting again.

Temporary loading issues
Loading issues on your smart device may be one of the reasons your Furbo app is not working properly.
In many cases, closing out the Furbo dog camera app on your phone and reopening it may cause the problem to resolve itself.
If closing out your app is not successful, then restart your iPhone or iPad.
Hold down the power button on your device for a few seconds, and select "Restart" from the options to restart your device.
Now, restart your device and reopen the Furbo dog camera app to see if the reset was successful.

If all of the above steps are not successful in making your Furbo dog camera app work properly, then delete your app and reinstall it.
In some cases, downloading an older version of the app may help your Furbo dog camera work better.

Standing too close to your Furbo with your phone
If you are experiencing an echoing or repetitive speaker sound you might be standing too close to Furbo with your phone. Try stepping away from the camera that you are using.
Phone is on silent mode
If your app has no sound, go to app permission on the phone and check to see if you have audio enabled. You can also make sure the phone is not on silent mode and check to see if you have turned off mute or turned the volume up.
Camera speaker not enabled
If your camera speaker is not working, first double check by tossing a treat and listening for a sound. If there is no sound, check app permissions and make sure you have access to speaker enabled. When you press the mic button make sure you can see the yellow animation on your screen before speaking. If this does not work close the app, reopen it, and see if that fixes your speaker errors.

My Furbo 360 app shows only “swipe to toss treat” other buttons are greyed out and don’t work. The “back” arrow doesn’t work, the “camera position” arrows, the Mic; all are grey and and not working

I am having the same issue—can’t access the mic or listen buttons. It only shows me the toss treat function.
