Hi Byrd I hope you didn't glued your new digitizer before testing. Otherwhise I'm afraid that you will have to re-hot it to remove it. Once the digitizer is removed, check if you positionned correctly the LCD cable to the LCD. (also check the connection of this cable to the mainboard) It could also be the LCD cable itself.

Bonjour Il te reste une solution (pas 2!). Tu retrouves une preuve d’achat avec la mention "facture" (un ticket de caisse ne fera pas l'affaire. Une fois que tu as retrouvé ta facture(j'espère que tu l'as gardé) alors tu téléphones au centre Apple (Assistance technique : 0805 540 003) il te créeront un ticket, t'enverront un lien et après tu pourras envoyer un scan de cette facture via ce lien en ayant pris soin au préalable de marquer au stylo sur la copie de facture et ton numéro de ticket créé par Apple et le n° de série de ton Ipad (il figure au dos, mais rien qu'en le connectant via Itune, tu l'auras). Si tu n'as plus de preuve d'achat, alors là, vu que tu ne te souviens plus des questions de sécurité, tu es mal. Au mieux, si c'est un Wifi/cellulaire , alors tu peux le faire transformer en Wifi seulement , mais c'est du hardware et ce n'est pas sans risque.

Hi Try to check the LCD connector with a magnifier. (with a microscope would be better indeed). Also try to make a magnified photo if possible.

I'm afraid that the best thing is to disassemble your Ipad (remove the digitizer..).Like this you will be able to unscrew (3 screws) the sim card module (don't forget to remove the small ribon from the connector first). It will be then quite easy to remove your sim card without breaking anything.

Ipad Air Wifi only ? what was right months ago is not more actually. For a reason I don't know (leak or other thing) Idevice Wifi only can have Find My device deactivated for few bucks (10 €) . With FMD deactivated you can reset the Idevice without any problem. I don't know how it's possible , especially if you consider that in the same time GSM devices are still very difficult /expensive to reset if FMD is activated . I tried to Google that, but I don't find exactly what can explain that nowadays it's so easy to unlock a Wifi device whereas it's so complicated to do the same for a GSM one!

Hi In that case you have 2 solutions. The first and easiest : you can emulate the Home button by software. For such purpose do as follow: 1) go into settings\General\Accessibility 2) In the INTERACTION Sub menu put AssistiveTouch ON 3) Then you will see a button appearing on your screen that will emulate the Home button. You can swipe it & put it at the place of your screen you desire. The second ; it's hardest but better : you will have to remove the digitizer using a hot gun or better a Hot air soldering/dessoldering unit and then to put back/replace the button . Possibly you will have to buy a gasket before to replace the former one (very cheap). Good luck

It is interesting to see if your touch screen will again temporary revive . If it's one of these chip I guess it is possible, but less & less until the touch screen remains permanently unresponsive.
