Power/Boot on Hold- OFF Hold No Power
When I place the iPod on hold it will boot and I will have the entrance menu but when I take it off hold the power shuts off.

Try to restore the iPod with itunes, maybe it's a firmware problem.
Note that when restoring you will lose everything inside his memory.

I have the same problem... and it's not a firmware problem! have you find anything????
