out of box failure
got 2 new units. neither one would charge & blue led charging light did not come on

@dougharder teh batteries are most likely discharged below their threshold and may no longer wake up. You will most likely have to replace those. Sostituzione batteria Black and Decker Pivot MAX or rebuild it for that you could use the SAMSUNG-30Q-18650-3000-FLAT cells.
