Mine is doing same thing its getting gas and the carb was just cleaned at lawn mower shop. If you spray starter fluid in it it will start right up. P.S. this mower is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought I have had problems with the deck every year and sears did nothing but band aid until warranty ran out now this.

Lucas, I do understand your frustration:-) anyhow, besides getting the carb cleaned, also check the fuel lines as well as the gas tank. Make sure you have a vented gas cap. There should be a shutoff solenoid in the float bowl. Make sure it is operational. Double check the needle valve and float settings. we might find some more specific information, if you let us know which engine your mower has.

I have a crasftman zero turn it not getting gas carb has been cleaned spark plugs are getting fire. If u spray starter fluid it will start and shut back off can you give me some pointers on what it might be it 26 up Briggs motor 50 in deck

IF it has a fuel filter, check it. Check fuel lines. Check solenoid bottom of carb. Check fuel in fuel bowl, may have water in it. Also check your fuel in tank. Is it new? Old gas is biggest problem with all mowers.
