Released on July 28th, 2017, The New Nintendo 2DS XL is a technologically-improved remodel of the 2DS handheld. It is the ninth and last redesign of the Nintendo DS line, The console is much larger than the original 2DS model and adds all the features of the updated 'New 3DS' line of systems, minus the ability to play games in 3D on the top screen.

Help fixing popping issue resulting in instant shutdown

Whenever I try to power on my New Nintendo 2DS XL, it powers on for one second, makes a popping sound then shuts off. I put an appointment in to see a repair tech a couple hours from me but they’re charging $35 to even diagnose the problem and I’d prefer to know right now what I’d need to do to fix it and I’m guessing this is a moderately common issue.. let me know if I’m wrong 😢

In general popping sound mean bad contact with one off the screen(most likely the top one) or with another componant, disassemble and check/remove and put back all rubban cables should fix the problem. Or you have unfortunately a bad componant
