Hello, i have one question. I get laptop from my customer, laptop was complete waterdamage but important is data, is some basic HP, with two drive. One SSD and one HDD. Customer nedd the data from desktop, i put this m2 ssd to usb box, open user:name but thre is no desktop folder. Any idea? on another disc also not. Thanks for any idea.

What is the version of Windows? Also what does Windows disk tools tell you?

Windows on my pc is 11, and on the customer ssd 10 or 11 he is not sure. Disk tool i dont use till now, i can normally open the ssd, there is all data but desktop folder not, and document folder is empty but customer tell there was many files before
@vojtech59738 - Sounds like they was using cloud storage!
Give this a try, install a new drive and set it up using the users account info. You may need them to tell you if they use Google Drive or other cloud service.
