How is this device opened?
I have a loose connection on my right speaker and to further eliminate this issue I need to open the speaker shells first. How is that done?

This is the correct way to open the Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) PX5 headphones. I found out the hard way after levering off a cover and snapping clips.
The correct way is to rotate the whole padded cover gently anti clockwise. That disengages it from the clips and it just lifts off. This example photo shows the right cover removed and the unnecessarily snapped clips on the LHS of the photo. The left side cover, which is the shown on the RHS of the photo, came off with a gentle twist.
The 4 screws to get access to the electronics are hidden underneath layer of adhesive tape like shown under the left cover (on RHS). You need to pick an edge up to peel gently off. It becomes quite easy if you use heat from a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.
It is then easy to remove the 4 small Philips screws. You can then gently prise the module apart - the wires are short and very delicate.
Here are the electronics in the right hand side cup.

THANKS. So helpful. I'd never have spotted that was tape!
Hi. When the shells are opened- did you find the problem in wiring or electronics causing no sound in one of the headphones?
Hi
Unfortunately they doesn’t appear to be any disassembly guides online
However
Most headphone come apart in a similar way
The ear cushions usually unclog or peel off which usually reveals some screws
Once the screws are undone the driver and the housing should lift out
When lifting out please be careful as there will be cables attached
Hopefully this helps
Any questions please ask
Thanks:-)
