Why is my battery dying out so quickly?
The battery only lasts for less than 30 minutes. I also cannot charge it up when using it.

Are you able to use it when plugged in? If so it is likely the battery itself.
You should be able to get a replacement and follow this iFixIt guide: Toshiba Satellite P50W-C Battery Replacement
