Use iPad without screen, only with LCD display

Hello everyone. My question is:

Can i use iPad touchscreen only with lcd display without glass screen above it ? Can i touch it ?

I want to know only for emergencies and would therefore only be for short moments

The glass on top is the digitizer. You MAY be able to use it with something like a bluetooth keyboard but if it gets restarted or powered down it probably won’t work. So to answer your question, I would say no.

ok, i tought touchscreen was implemented in the lcd display and not in the screen above it
