1 Why the screen is having some shadow while switching on?
when I switch on my laptop there is a shadow around the sides of the display and the same time screen is flickering also. if I wait for some time it will disappear. This problem comes once in a while. I have attached the picture of the same. somebody,
please help me with this.

@yaduks, are you able to plug the laptop into another display? See if an external display has the same issue.

@alexrobinson yes, the external display is not having any problem. I tried screen sharing and in laptop shadow is visible but on the external screen it looks fine.

If you use screen sharing and view your screen from another device, and everything looks fine, maybe you're going to need a screen replacement.
