How to hide previews in a Contact
Call and message previews show up on individual Contacts. How can I hide them? It's a privacy issue.

You may need to disable message previews as a whole.
How to:
Go into the Messages app – it’s the stock SMS app.
Tap on the three dot menu button on the action bar (near the top) and click on Settings.
Now click on Notifications.
Here, you can completely disable notifications, but you probably do not want to do that.
You get the option to disable pop-ups as well as message previews. You can disable any one of them or both of them.

The problem is that I don't have the three dot menu button, only Search and More. Pressing More gets me to Delete, Locked messages, Font size, App priority senders, and Help.
