Your laptop has 2 GPUs, one integrated in the CPU (Intel) and one a discrete Nvidia GPU mounted on the motherboard.
It would be unusual for both to fail at once.
Try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the laptop screen and check if you can see any images at all. They will be ''very faint'' if any are there, so trying this in a darkened room may help.
If they are images it's a backlight problem. Either a faulty backlight power supply on the motherboard, a faulty video cable or more likely a faulty screen.
If there are no images then either a faulty video cable or more likely a faulty screen.
