Hi @austinphil27329

Check that there is 19.5V DC at the output plug on the charger

If the charger is OK then the symptoms could be related to a faulty [https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-GU502LV-BI7N8-GU501GM-BI7N8-GU502GW-AH76-Connector/dp/B098TJ5MHH|DC-In jack] on the motherboard. (supplier example only)

What can happen is that sometimes the inner centre pin connector breaks internally and opens the +ve voltage leg of the power supply from the charger. If this occurs there is no power being supplied to the motherboard to either run the laptop or to charge the battery.

If it is determined that the jack is faulty, it cannot be repaired, it has to be replaced.

Here's a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceeH8MAxdRs|video] that may help with the repair.

if doing this yourself seems too daunting, contact a reputable, professional laptop repair service and ask for a quote.
