It doesn’t look as though the insulation covering each wire has broken or if it has that it has broken and exposed two wires at the same point.

If there is such exposure of the wires it “may” cause problems because a short circuit between two wires can cause damage.

Other than that since it is in a low voltage circuit and not used in a circuit where “induction”” between the wires may cause problems due to incorrect separation between the wires then I doubt that there has been any hardware problems created.

It is better not to reuse it though, just in case the insulation breaks down further if the cable was straightened out etc
