Remove the bottom cover

  • Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface.

  • Loosen the eight captive screws that secure the bottom cover.

  • Loosen the two inset captive screws that secure the bottom cover.

  • Starting under the middle of the display, pry and lift the bottom cover off the computer.
