Slide the lefthand portion of the elastic headband into the middle opening on the mount.

Pull the lefthand portion of the elastic strap through the middle opening.

Slide the top portion of the elastic strap into the middle opening of the top bracket on the mount.

Pull the top portion of the elastic strap through the top bracket on the mount.

Slide the top layer of the righthand elastic strap into the middle bracket on the mount.

Pull the top of the righthand strap through the middle bracket on the mount.

Slide the bottom of the righthand elastic strap into the middle bracket on the mount.
-

Pull the bottom of the righthand strap through the middle bracket on the mount. The strap should now be completely free from the mount.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order using your replacement Petzl elastic headband.

Any idea of how to replace the headband when my model doesn’t have those handy dandy slits in the brackets?
Managed the rethread my old Petzl head torch. Let me know if you'd like a hand.
