The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is an affordable 14” laptop released by Lenovo in 2022. It was released as part of the diverse ThinkPad family of laptops in the budget-friendly ThinkPad E (formerly Edge) line, which is designed for and marketed towards small-to-medium-sized businesses. This device was released concurrently with a more costly 15” model, the ThinkPad E15 Gen 4. There are no notable differences in performance or computing power between the two models.

The ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is 12.76 x 8.69 inches and starts at 3.5-3.6 lbs. The casing may be made of either a mix of aluminum and sturdy plastic or just aluminum. Built-in features include a webcam w/ privacy shutter, fingerprint scanner, and TrackPoint pointing stick. This model runs using either an AMD Ryzen 5000 Series or Intel 12th Gen Core processor. The ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 does not have a history of recalls.

This model is preceded by the ThinkPad E14 Gen 3. The Gen 4 offers increased memory over the Gen 3, as well as a higher quality camera, more powerful CPU, and lighter build, but has a lower average battery life. Both models have a 16:9 aspect ratio.
