Key
A key is a tool used to unlock or lock a mechanism, such as a door or a padlock. It typically consists of a small, metal object with a unique shape that is inserted into a corresponding lock mechanism.
When the key is turned, it aligns the pins or tumblers within the lock, allowing the lock to be opened or closed. Physical keys can be made of various materials, such as brass or steel, and come in different shapes and sizes depending on the lock they are intended to fit. They are commonly used to secure homes, vehicles, safes, and other valuable items that require restricted access.
