My name is Evan Mackenzie. I am currently a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth studying engineering. I am learning the foundations and basics of engineering. My goal is to either manage or work on construction site, or work in a mechanic shop on cars.

My grandfather was an industrial engineer. Growing up he traveled a lot for his company and showed me some of the work load he had to take on. I was always intrigued in the travel of course, but the work as well. I knew I would study in the field since that young age.

This project is very useful for that sake that It gives some experience in basic skills, such as emailing, but for an engineering related topic, fixing something. I believe it would be something that could be included on my resume.
