Paul, Are you still having this problem? If so, recommend going back to the basics and checking fuel, battery, starter, etc. If no crank, can you still hear the fuel pump turn on when turning the key to ACC? If not, check the fuel pump fuse. If so, check the battery. If all of that is good, check the starter, including if power is going to the starter.

Per saperne di piùKerrie, milky oil and low coolant likely means a failed head gasket. If this isn't something you're able to diagnose, and you were able to drive the car a mile home. You should be able to top it off with oil and coolant sufficiently to drive to a nearby mechanic. Depending on how bad it is, bring extra coolant and keep an eye on the engine temperature. If the engine gets hotter than normal on the way to the mechanic, pull over and add more coolant, waiting for the engine to cool down again if necessary.
Per saperne di piùRecommend opening the MacBook and rechecking the installation of the new battery, especially the connections. If everything looks sound, it’s possible the battery is defective. You could try returning that and purchasing a new one from a different supplier.
Per saperne di piùComment by jayeff is good. The symptoms described are consistent with a transmission problem, especially if an ODBII scan reveals transmission related codes. Concur with checking the transmission fluid. However, if the transmission has been driven with low or overly dirty fluid for some time, damage could have occurred. You may need to get this evaluated by a mechanic who specializes in transmissions.

I had difficulty with separating the base under steps 2 and 3. This is a great tutorial, but I think there’s more to steps 2 and 3 without breaking the unit. For example, I think one needs to depress the left-side cartridge release button while pulling the base from the cover. I didn’t appreciate this and ended up breaking the plastic tab associated with that release button, so then when the unit is reassembled, it won’t stay in the down position. I ended up purchasing a new base from Braun.FactoryOutletStore.com.
