Beware ….. I’ve had two G6 phones with a “stuck” top edge of of tray (in your photo) that broke off and stayed “stuck” inside the motherboard connector. And, I used the proper tool for pushing into the hole to push the tray out from the back. I was able to get it all re-installed by pushing the sim-card in first and then pushing the tray in around the sim-card.

The tiny black box touching your index finger was not free to come out with my motherboard. I disconnected the ribbon cable from it’s connection on the motherboard and then removed the motherboard.
