To fix outer screen scratches, first, use a scratch filler; Displex Touch Screen Sealer from Amazon.com I tried to replace my screen, but first I got the ?wrong screen? but through out the cracked screen and the Digitizer...Don't do that... The Digitizer is expensive:( I got a kit and made a mess of things. If you remove the digitizer from the cracked screen, and glew it to a new one it should work, but don't bet on it.
