Okay, don't freak out, but there are a BUNCH of clips and connectors to undo at this point, just keep calm and know where your towel is and all will be well.
-
Disconnect, using a spudger or fingernail, the following connectors:
-
USB header
-
Speakers
-
Power/media buttons
-
VGA connector and screw
-
Fan power
-
Modem connector (lift up tape)
-
-
-
Peel back the metallic tape from the fan
-
Lift the fan up and away from the vent
-
Tough part: Lift the motherboard at the rop right corner, find this cable underneath and gently wiggle it out.
-
Lift the board out, pivot it slightly to allow the audio connectors to come free, then simply lift.

Is there a separate sound module? My A215 works great except for the sound which is nothing but crackle/static even with sound turned to very low. Same thing using headphones so the speakers themselves seem to be ok.
