My laptop backlight is not working, the laptop itself works and when i shine a flashlight at it i can see what it displays, i opened the laptop and (by following a youtube video where the same laptop had the same problem) i noticed the fuse for the backlight was missing?

The backlight fuse is a 3A 32V type number is ERBRD3R00X
To verify that it is the correct fuse location that you're looking at, if the motherboard is an NM-D471/NM-D472 model, here's an image showing the location of the backlight fuse FV1. The top image is a zoomed in image showing the location and the bottom image is an image showing the entire board that you can use as a reference to verify.
